Government Partner: U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission

CPSC partners with text4baby to share important baby safety information with new parents.  CPSC's mission is to protect the public from unreasonable risks of injury or death from thousands of types of consumer products under the agency's jurisdiction. Text4baby is one great way they connect with consumers.

For instance, did you know:

  • That babies should always sleep in a bare crib, without pillows, thick blankets and large stuffed animals?
  • That you should keep baby’s crib away from all cords, such as those on window blinds and curtains or on baby monitors?
  • That you should install a carbon monoxide alarm in your home?
