National Text4baby partners harness the power of their broad, diverse networks of members and chapters to spread the word about Text4baby. Though these organizations have varied missions, all have recognized the value that Text4baby adds to their existing goals and programs. National partners like March of Dimes, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and the American Public Health Association view Text4baby as a tool to support the work their members do - at no cost.

Promotional Ideas

• Send an email or letter to your members, affiliates, and partners across the country announcing your support of Text4baby and providing them with resources from this site.
• Distribute a press release announcing your organization’s involvement in Text4baby and the value you see. Include a quote from your Executive Director.
• Add a Text4baby web banner or button to your website’s homepage (and/or the section of your site dedicated to maternal and child health). Consider adding an internal page just dedicated to Text4baby and link directly to the resources on the national site.
• Incorporate Text4baby promotion into your social media activities by becoming a fan of text4baby on Facebook, posting about the program, and tweeting about Text4baby and how you’re spreading the word. Click here for sample messages.
• Include a blurb or article in your e-newsletter or print newsletter.
• If your organization is associated with a research journal, dedicate a small ad to Text4baby in your next issue.
• Include Text4baby information in your annual conference program. Reach out to Text4baby staff about how else to incorporate Text4baby into your conference, for example by having a keynote speaker mention the service or inviting Text4baby staff to present on a panel.
• Partner with the National Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition to co-host a webinar about Text4baby for your members and constituents.
• If your organization has state-level chapters or coalitions, encourage those individuals to join state Text4baby coalitions by reaching out to the State Leads listed on the website.
• After you’ve become a formal partner by completing the MOU, customize the Text4baby posters and tearpads with your agency’s logo and distribute materials to your network. You can also order free materials to share with members here.
