Alabama Department of Public Health
The Alabama Department of Public Health began promoting text4baby at major medical associations chapter’s conferences to reach direct service providers across the state with information about this valuable, free service for their patients.
Idaho Department of Health and Welfare
Idaho Department of Health and Welfare sent an informative mailing regarding the text4baby service was sent to all pregnant women enrolled in Medicaid encouraging them to enroll in the service. Learn more about this easy and effective outreach approach.
Immunize Nevada
Immunize Nevada recruited pregnant women and moms to participate in a flash mob prior to the first pitch at a local baseball game. This was an innovative promotional approach that included the community and was a fun and easy way to spread the word.
Indiana Minority Health Coalition
Indiana Minority Health Coalition exhibited at the Indiana Black Expo Summer Celebration and was able to provide materials, informational hand-outs, and assist women with text4baby enrollment on the spot. This was an effective approach for reaching women in their community.
Michigan Primary Care Association
The Michigan Primary Care Association exhibited at the West Michigan Women’s Expo to reach women with information about text4baby outside of the traditional healthcare setting.
Minnesota Department of Health and Washington Department of Health

New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services
Forming state coalitions has proven to be effective by building on existing contacts and networks within the field of public health and strengthening the presence of text4baby. New Hampshire was one of the first state coalitions and has had continued success, including placing 2nd in the 2011 State Enrollment Contest.
North Carolina Healthy Start Foundation:
