#1 Mobile Health Service Gets Fit & Healthy for Baby Week
Text4baby and Discovery Fit & Health partner for Baby Week, March 18-22
 

WASHINGTON, DC (March 11, 2013) –Text4baby, the trusted free text messaging service for pregnant and new moms, and popular cable network, Discovery Fit & Health are coming together for Baby Week 2013 to promote free health and safety text messages March 18-22.
 

Together, text4baby and Discovery Fit & Health (DFH) plan to raise awareness of text4baby and encourage moms to tune in for great pregnancy and motherhood-focused programming through on-air advertising, online advertising, and social media. DFH will post text4baby tips during programming, launch a dedicated text4baby microsite on discovery.com, and host twitter chats during specific programs. Additionally, moms who tune in and join the twitter chats will have the chance to win a $250 Baby’s ‘R’ Us gift card through the Watch and Win contest.
 

During Baby Week, all of Discovery Fit & Health’s primetime programming will be focused on pregnancy and baby themes - the scheduled line-up is both educational and entertaining. Featured shows include Cake Boss: Baby Special; 19 Kids and Counting; Sister’s Special Delivery (Sister Wives); DC Cupcakes: Baby Special, and others.
 

Text4baby is a free service of the non-profit National Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition (HMHB). Text4baby was created in collaboration with Founding Sponsor Johnson & Johnson, and founding partners Voxiva, CTIA - The Wireless Foundation, and Grey Healthcare Group (a WPP company). Women who text "BABY" (or “BEBE” for Spanish) to 511411 receive three free text messages a week, timed to their due date or their baby's birth date, through pregnancy and up until the baby’s first birthday.
