A Partnership on Mobile Technologies to Promote HMHB in Russia.


Healthy Russia Foundation is a Russian NGO and a key partner for the US Agency for International Development in Russia. USAID fully applauds this partnership between a Russian and American NGO as an excellent example of Russian and American civil society working together to promote innovation in health.  “This program model holds great promise for profound impact in Russia.  Many Russian women who want to do the best they can for their children need help to do so.  We hope that by providing them with information they need in a manner that is easy and convenient, we can connect them to care,” says Elena Dmitrieva, Executive Director, Healthy Russia Foundation.

There are nearly 5 billion phones and over 3 billion SMS users worldwide who send on average 2.6 SMS per day, making text messaging the most used communication tool on the planet.
